OFFICE MANAGER

Our Office Manager is responsible for day-to-day administration of the Practice.  If you have any suggestions or questions regarding services or wish to make a complaint, the Manager can be contacted at the Medical Centre.

PRACTICE NURSE

The Surgery has a Practice Nurse, Mrs Yvette Hobson who is responsible for running various health clinics.  She can be contacted at the Medical Centre.

COMMUNITY NURSES

The Community Nurse team can be contacted at Glengormley Community Services Centre, Tel: 02890 831500.

TREATMENT ROOM NURSES

The Treatment Room is open 8.30am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 5.30pm.  The Treatment Room operates an appointment system.  Please either telephone the surgery or call at reception to arrange an appointment with the Nurse.

ATTACHED STAFF

Health Visitors - all based at Glengormley Community Services Centre Tel: 02890 831500.  Health Visitors are experienced registered nurses who carry out baby and child assessments, health promotion and visits to the elderly.

Midwives, Social Services, Family Planning, Podiatry, Audiology, Speech Therapy, Community Psychatric Nurse and Community Dentist.

CONFIDENTIALITY
The practice operates a confidentiality policy. The contents of records whether manual or electronic are of a highly confidential nature and even apparently innocuous information such as age, marital status and dates of attendance at the surgery are treated with the same level of care as more obviously medical matters.
Notes, records and reports are never left where unauthorised people can see them inadvertently. As this practice is paper-light, computer screens are always closed down after use and, if left unattended for any length of time, have a password system and screensaver in operation.
